The seller will not respond after I filed a return request for a purchase. They sent me a return code for usps but they will not take the item, Now they do not return my emails, hoe can I contact a person at ebay to help me?

If the post office says it's not valid then the best way to contact eBay is on social media.
Tell them that the seller did not provide a VALID return label as required by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service.

3. Answer the chat bots question by stating what you need help with. Be brief when you reply to the chat bot.
4.Type AGENT ( you may have repeat steps 3 and 4)

Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

No, the return label they sent me is to ship USPS but the item is too large and heavy for them to accept.
They did just return my email from a week ago but I am concerned.
I tried going thru the E-bay help, but it doesn't seem to get me where I need to go and there is no phone number to call.
Thank you for the direction.

The seller didn't provide a valid return label if it can not be used for your item.
You can also try the Ask eBay to Step in option from the refund request, but that might not work since a label was issued.
