Being forced toRefund a seller in spite of no refund policy
Sold a brand new with tags jacket to a buyer on Satirday night 12/23/23. I spent 2 hours messaging with him trying to get it to him by Christmas holiday... all after it was postage and packaged. Suddenly, after finding out I couldn't get it to him, he claimed it was not the jacket I described. BUT it was, 100%, used the manufacturers description and had many pictures. In an act of total disrespect to me, eBay sided with buyer for absolutely no reason. They sent him a return label, sent me a notification that it was being reviewed, after the whole time knowing they sent him the label. They will not let my calls go to an agent. How can this be, when the buyer says it is the wrong color Grey vs black, and material, denim vs sherpa, and this is the info ebay powers that be used to refund him from me?

OP2 years agoHi Lady Madonna, and thanks for the response. Yes, that is where my frustration lies. I simply said, as one of the options in that post says is possible for not being interested in taking the return, that I am enforcing my no returns policy. On top of that, the buyer called me a-hole and dipsh-t, which are interesting and friendly words to share on our formerly friendly platform.

Ebay's Money Back Guarantee overrides your "No returns" policy.
If you did not respond correctly to the Return Request, the buyer was able to ask Ebay to step in to help.
