Being charged with a Policy Violation?
I have been with eBay ever since they opened up. I have always been very cautious with the items that I put up for sale. This past week has been so heart-wrenching, I was being accused of putting up a fake Steph Curry Basketball Card. This is like a nightmare to me because I have always followed procedures protocol, etc. by eBay. The basketball card that I put up was purchased at Target 🎯 Rohnert Park Ca
I have never been accused of providing anything fake on eBay and to be accused of that and then taking my item down without verifying the card itself which actually as I spoke to the Target manager yesterday, I showed her the package that this card came in and I said this card was sealed here’s my receipt, etc. the office manager was in disbelief stating that you have your original package and yes, you can see that this card is on this package and it states that you would get one of three different cards of Steph Curry. like I told her yes and I got one and I realize that eBay had a lot of people buying these cards so I thought what the heck I have a huge sports room. It’s my own personal collection. It’s something that I enjoy. This hair took not only my breath away, but the wind out of my energy because I feel like you guys took me down so hard to say that I put up a “fake card†that’s really hard to swallow especially when I know I have my receipt and the packaging which I showed to the lady which she verified so something is wrong really wrong here. I’m not out to accuse anybody, but this card can’t be fake like she said it came from the manufacture right out of the bag and I showed her the other cards that were in that package
so I’m waiting for my card to get delivered back to me FedEx. It’s coming out of Petaluma today so I’m gonna stay home. Sit here to make sure I sign for my package. I’m going to take that to the authenticator here in town because if this does not get authenticated properly, then there’s going to be another issue.
I have been with you guys ever since eBay started not five years ago, but when eBay initially started up, I was a few months out and have enjoyed selling On eBay from time to time now that I’m retired. I’m trying to get rid of some stuff and I’m trying to get those up there. I’m very honest if I did something wrong I’mma tell you oh my God I screwed up, however, I didn’t ‘screw up’ I paid good money for this package. I evaluated kind of picked out the card. I wanted to put up on eBay to give it a try since everyone else was making money and then I’m being accused of sending in a fake card so I would like to stress that I took pictures of every nook and cranny on that card from the top to the bottom from the front to the back very clear pictures so that it protects me knowing that I sent in this card and that’s the card that we hope that I get back but I do have my original packaging. I have my receipt. It was verified by Target that yes that’s the package that this item would’ve come in and so if there’s a screwup then we will settle this with the manufacturer, but I know I did not put up a fake card on eBay I would never ever do that and like I said I’ve been with eBay ever since eBay opened up their doors, allowing us to start selling our personal items on your website. I just needed to explain this to you because the lady that I called in she did not understand that clearly so I wanted to explain to you that there’s no reason for a policy violation. I did not do anything wrong.
I bought several NBA basketball Card packets from Target in Rohnert Park
I paid for the Packets, similar to what I did yesterday the Target store in Petaluma, California, this was purchased on my debit card just like what I did way back when when I got the Steph Curry card, I opened up my packages to see what new item I received I’m not a thief. I’m not a liar, but I know that that card was legit because it came from the manufacturer so I trust that. so I will await the delivery of my card today. I will definitely look it over. I will go get it ‘authenticated’ here in town hopefully today as long as the package comes early enough I am not happy and I’m not sure not to expect, but if it’s not legit, I will definitely go back to target and get my money back
