Bed bugs
I purchased a pair of trousers, which unfortunately arrived infested with bed bugs. Upon receiving the package, I opened it on my bed and consequently suffered multiple bites, which have been exceedingly painful. In response to these bites, I began taking an old prescription of antibiotics that was originally prescribed for a previous foot surgery; I commenced this medication on Friday mornings.
I contacted the seller to inquire about the possibility of returning the item. I indicated to the seller that the reason for the return was an improper fit, as I was understandably reluctant to try the trousers on under the circumstances.
I am unable to upload photos to this website. Please see photos posted to seller review of my bites.

Issue with item not fitting is not covered by the Ebay Money Back Guarantee.
You chose the wrong reason for the return request.
If the return request has been denied/closed, you cannot reopen another return request.
Antibiotics is not the proper treatment for bed bug bites unless the bites become infected with bacteria.

OP1 year agoThank you for your response. I tried posting pictures but couldn’t. How do I post pictures to this website?
My daughter holds a bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry, graduating with a 3.9 GPA, and a BSN in Nursing. She works as an ICU nurse and advised that the bites were infected and recommended taking antibiotics for them.

It is not necessary to post pictures. It is immaterial as there is nothing Ebay can do since you mistakenly chose the wrong reason for the return and your case is closed.
I suppose you can pursue this through legal means if you still have the clothing with the bugs attached.

Mentor1 year agoHi @7683linda
Your daughter, the nurse, didn't advise you to get a NEW prescription of antibiotics? And didn't she scold you for NOT completing the old prescription for whatever infection they originally were prescribed for? [You're not taking antibiotics correctly ... and I also question the need to take them for undiagnosed insect bites.]
Bed bugs ... if that's indeed what they are ... are notoriously difficult to eradicate. You probably need an exterminator to ensure that your bed ... and home ... are free from whatever insect they are. And I would keep the pants/packaging in the garage ... or toss them ... UNLESS you are returning them to the seller.
It is relatively easy to post photos to a 'return request' ... or to eBay messages. They both contain links to do specifically that. You simply copy & paste the photos from your computer into the claim/message.
And choosing 'Doesn't fit' as the reason for wanting to return the item makes no sense. Why wouldn't you choose 'Doesn't match description or photos' as the reason? [I'm sure the listing didn't include 'bugs' in the description or photos.]
