Don't know what guys you're asking about. Even if they're not, eBay's Money Back Guarantee will protect you, if you use it right ... don't assume the MBG works the way you think it should. You have to follow the process. The first thing to do is to get acquainted with the Not As Described dispute. Now, about the watch. If you want a "watch" watch, I'd try to discourage you from buying a Rolex. If you want a piece of jewelry, then go ahead. I bought my wife a Rolex wristwatch several years ago. In my life I've seen few things as beautifully constructed as that watch, but it wouldn't keep time worth a carp. Taking into account the effect of inflation, it cost the equivalent of $9,000 in today's money. It was aggravating to have to keep re-setting it every few days. The Rolex resides in the jewelry box now, and I bought her a battery operated Seiko, beautiful, though not as beautiful as a Rolex, but it keeps perfect time and has to be re-set only twice a year for Daylight Saving Time.
