BB-9 Berkey Filters Described as "new" but obviously used.
Has anyone else come across eBay sellers that advertise "new" Berkey BB-9 water filters, including pictures of shrink-wrapped filters, but then ship unwrapped filters that are pretty obviously used, with deposits scraped off the the outside to make them appear unused?
I'm in the process of demanding (after first nicely requesting) a full refund from two sellers but I'm feeling like this is enough of a scam that I should report the sellers to eBay. Is there a way to do that?
It's a big deal because these filters are used to remove chemical and biological contaminants from drinking water. I'm concerned that other people are being taken in and it may result in a dangerous situation.
