Battery died two years into the five year warranty period
I purchased the 40Volt Ryobi battery on Order date: Jun 16, 2022. It came with a 5 year warranty.
Since 2024 the battery no longer holds a charge.
I contacted the seller twice now with no response.
eBay says their no hassle return is good for 60 days I think.
I tried the return button on eBay.com but I got "Sorry, we couldn't find any items from your recent eBay,com activity."
So I'm left with eBay.com contact Customer Service, but before I do that I wanted to see if y'all had any tips for me.
Hope you an help me. USA

Ebay's Money Back Guarantee is valid for 30 days, not 60. Customer Service will not be able to assist you since the 30 days has long passed.
Ebay sellers cannot issue warranties on the items they sell unless they are an authorized direct dealer for the manufacturer. Otherwise the buyer would have to purchase a third party warranty.

OP2 years agoWhat can I do now? I feel like I am stuck between eBay and the battery seller, neither of which are talking to me.
