Barrier with accounts set for "auto pay"
Hi everyone,
If you are finding less people are bidding on your items, it might be because the updated policy on "auto pay". I've escalated it many times. For accounts set up for "auto pay", it will not accept your 3 digit pin when you are prompted to input it unless you have what ebay deems as a "traditional bank". Being it's 2025 and there are a hundred different banking opportunities-it drastically limits who can bid on items. I've missed out on multiple items myself. The only work around is possibly doing a paypal account. For those who are not comfortable, we are out of luck until ebay gets rid of their policy. Not being able to bid or make offers on any items if the seller's account is set for "auto pay" because you don't have a "traditional bank".
