Bareroot plant bought last fall is not what i purchased.
There was no way I could tell what was until it bloomed this spring. What I received was a plant that I have absolutely no use for. We have hundreds of them growing wild around this plot.
I contacted the sellers. They requested a photo, I sent it, then they stopped talking to me.
I'm pretty sure ebay will refuse to take up the case, using the excuse that the transaction is way too old, (last August) despite my having had no way to confirm what they sent me when I got it. I'm angry, and even if ebay refuses to deal with this under the circumstances, I want to know why I can't at least make a formal complaint against the seller.
If eBay has chosen to offer a guarantee to buyers, they need to stop blocking any correspondence that doesn't fit any of their preset options under which to contest a sale.

The eBay guarantee is for 30 days after receipt, so yes, it is way too late to file a claim through eBay. It is probably too late to file a claim through your card issuer since most cards give you 6 months to open a dispute, but you could call them and ask.
You can try the report seller page, but it might be limited to orders in the last 90 days.
