I just sold my first item.
I am uncomfortable giving eBay both my bank account number and my social security number!
Is that necessry?
Is it secure?!?!?

Mentor1 month agoALL sellers have to provide their checking account number and social security number. Ayden handles Managed Payments for eBay and there have not been any issues. Yes, it is necessary if you want to get paid. It is the only way to get paid. The SSN is a federal requirement so your sales can be reported.
