Bait and Switch by Seller

I purchased the following item: Women Full Pelt Natural White Real Fox Fur Coat Hooded Jacket Overcoat Outwear Sold by yiwuzhumeng2021 Order number: 21-09746-73714

After shipping they then sent me a pic of a coat without a hood:

They have refused multiple requests to re-route the package back and are demanding I pay return shipping. How do I deal with a bad ebayer from a foreign country?

@tcntr-half That is a variation listing . Make sure that you have actually selected the hooded variation in your purchase history. There is a difference in price for the two versions. If your purchase history shows that you purchased the hooded version, then open a not as described return request when the wrong item arrives. If the purchase history shows the one without a hood was selected, you will have to pay return shipping or sell it locally. I would also recommend having the item examined by a professional to determine if the fur is genuine.

If you received an item that is not as described, you have 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
