Bad seller
I made a deal to purchase a Snap On tool box from an eBay seller. Made arrangements to meet on a Saturday. I drove 2 and a half hours to meet, called him when I arrived in the town. He gave me directions to a storage facility to meet up. I waited there for an hour and a half, no show. I called him several times and went to voice mail. I texted him a couple times with no reply.
I can’t leave any feedback on his account. Any suggestions.

Mentor1 year agoWhat is the item number? Was there a MAKE OFFER on the listing, with Local Pickup? If the item was listed on ebay, you have up to 60 days in which to leave feedback.

OP1 year agoHe marked the item as sold because he said to many lowball offers. We made a deal via eBay email before he marked it sold.

Was the tool box listed for sale on the eBay site or another site?

The Seller violated eBay policies by taking the sale off eBay. He may have done that to avoid paying eBay Selling fees.
Because he took the sale off eBay, eBay cannot protect you. Hopefully you did not pay him anything.

OP1 year agoNo didn’t give him any money just wasted a whole day and a tank of gas.

Find the item in your purchase history. Once the last estimated date of delivery passes, you can open a case for “item not received†at that time.
I am a tad concerned that you are a new user, you said you ‘made a deal’ with the seller, and, you can’t leave feedback…

OP1 year agoHe apparently didn’t note anything on eBay as he pulled the item before we made a cash deal. Went to his town to p/u
