Bad Key Fob
I purchased a key fob on e bay. The seller described it as being perfect I took it to the Jeep dealer to have it programmed they charged me $226.64 and told me that the unit was no good I'm requesting $226.64 from the vendor because they sold me a bad key fob and I had to pay the dealer $226.64.
Should they be responsable?

Mentor6 months agoWhen did you purchase the fob? What is the sellers return policy? eBay's Money Back Guaranty is only good for 30 days from receipt of the item. After this time you would need to go to your payment source to ask for a charge back.

Locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on More to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. Print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click on Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
The seller is only responsible to refund the item price + shipping. No one is going to make the seller reimburse the money you paid to the dealer.
