Bad and / or misleading description of an item for sale

I contacted E-Bay about an item #2-102362483795 with a miss leading description. It is listing a Susan B Anthony dollar as containing .999% silver. There is no silver in it. The price is listed as $150.

I brought this to the attention of E-Bay and they told me the listing doesnâ€™t violate any of their policies, end of story. Is there no policy at E-bay to tell the truth?

Any reports to eBay go through the AI bots and of course they will see no problem with the listing since AI is not really smart no matter what they try to tell you. You should contact eBay through social media as these reps are actual humans and have more experience than the ones on the phone.

You contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. Your message should contain your full name, user ID and a brief explanation of your problem. You can use Twitter (twitter.com/askebay) or Facebook (facebook.com/ebay). eBay will verify your identity before getting back to you so this is not a fast process.
