avoiding shipping late
i had a buyer win a auction today and asked me not to ship it for 2 days because he has another of my auctions then. how do i avoid having it listed as a late shipment

Mentor2 weeks agoIn the future, if you opt into the auto-pay and give a discount for combined shipping, the buyer can select the option that s/he wishes to continue shopping, and ebay will then allow the buyer to pay at the end of 7 days to take advantage of the combined shipping.

eBay requires you to ship within your handling time, there is no way to hold a shipment and not get a late shipping defect.
What you can do is contact the buyer to let them know you can not hold the item however you can cancel the first sale, then list the item again as a buy it now, for the winning bid, for the buyer to re-purchase after they win the second auction, so you can combine the sales.
Just be sure to use buyer requested or problem with address as the reason for cancelling to avoid a defect.
