Autopay Issue
I submitted an offer, it was accepted and the autopay function immediately ran the transaction through PayPal. I wanted to ship the item to another address but because of autopay, I did not have the option. In the past when an offer was accepted, I was sent an email to click and complete the transaction. In this manner I could select the shipping address. Has this function gone away with autopay or can I adjust it somehow?

OP2 years agoI actually spoke to the people at PayPal and they said with auto-pay, the deal is completed so you wouldn't be given an option to change anything. They offered to review my autopays (only two thank goodness) and they turned them off. Problem solved, but in all the years I've been using PayPal, this is the first time it has ever happened and it happened for both vendors.

Mentor2 years ago@krgman When you FIRST submit the offer and provide the payment method you should be able to EDIT the shipping address at that time. I did see screen shots of that option from a couple of months ago, not sure if eBay changed things again.
Once the offer is accepted it can't be changed.
Not all sellers have the immediate payment required for best offers turned on in account settings. You can ask your seller if they have that option turned on before you make an offer and explain it's not letting you change payment methods etc. This setting was turned on by default in sellers accounts and many don't even know it.
