AutoPay
As a seller, I want to opt-out of buyers using AutoPay. It allows a form of credit or "running a tab" until the buyer decides to make their payment. As a somewhat disabled person who hires help with getting shipments to the post office (approx. 6-8 items per week), I need to control for a prompt payment. Payment in 24 hrs. is stated in the listings. What can I do when a successful bidder uses AutoPay and extends payment for 7 days?

To turn off the require buyers to provide a payment method option go to your buyer requirements page, the settings are near the bottom of the page. This will turn off your requirement that a buyer have a payment method entered before they bid so they will be charged automatically but it will not prevent a buyer from choosing to turn on the option to combine items won.

Buyers have the option to combine multiple auctions won over a 7 day period with the same seller if the seller offers combined shipping. These buyers can choose to have a payment method set up and turn on the option when they enter their auto payment information before they bid. This option is available if the seller has combined shipping set up. If they win the auto payment is set to 7 days, not the usual 1 hour, to allow the buyer to bid and win more from that seller.
All auctions won within the 7 day period will be auto charged at the day and time that was set when they won the first auction. Additional items won do not extend that payment so you will know when the items will be paid for and can plan your shipping help.
They only way you can avoid it is to not offer combined shipping. You would need to change your shipping policy to not allow combined shipping.
Here is the announcement about it.

FYI Your payment in 24 hours is not enforceable as eBay allows buyers 4 days to pay, their policies over ride yours.
