Automatic Payment disabling
What is the process to disable the automatic payment system. When placing a bid, it defers to CC or PayPal if the bid is accepted I have only one PayPal choice listed where I actually have numerous options in my PayPal account. How do I have the system place the item back in my cart awaiting payment as it had in the past? This has become incredibly inconvenient and inflexible.

Mentor11 months agoThe seller controls whether a payment method is required in advance for a bid or an offer. The buyer cannot override the seller's choice.
If you are having problems choosing a particular payment method through PayPal, enter that card information directly into your eBay account "for offers and auctions" on the eBay Payments page.

OP11 months agoThat was not what I was asking. When I bid on an item, it defaults to a payment type if I win the auction. There are typically only 3 payment types available. One is PayPal, one is CC and one is something else. If I chose PayPal, it automatically defers to only the direct PayPal withdraw. If I wanted to purchase an Item and use PayPal Credit, which I have, this is not an option. The seller would still receive full compensation but I would then have more flexibility in choosing how I want to pay for larger items. I have set up my PayPal account to default to that but EbaY STILL uses the direct draw option.

Mentor11 months agoYou cannot use PayPal Credit to place a bid, though you may be able to use a different payment method to place a bid, and then check out within one hour of the end of the auction and choose PayPal Credit at checkout.
If that does not work, your original payment method used to bid would be charged, though.
