Automated offers being sent against my knowledge or approval
Hey ebay community do any sellers have this technical issue where eBay is sending out 25% off Offers on your items for sale. I think I've had real calls now. The latest was today August 15th. The other 2 calls were about 2 months ago. Reporting the same issue. I specifically told eBay to turn that off and that I do not accept them sending offers on my behalf. If I want an offer sent, I'll do the offer sending not eBay. I'm I'm trying to figure out the legality of eBay acting like their my superior and they override my decision-making process. In my selling account And send out offers to potential buyers and 25%. I did manage to go into my settings and delete the automated offers. And I have a phone call with eBay, but nobody at eBay will give me an explanation why that is being turned on on my account against my will. It's as if somebody's signing in to my account and adjusting my settings. The phone call I had today with ebay disconnect and this is not the first time that's happened and it's very disappointing that the customer service at ebay when the phone call dis connect and even though that is eBay policy to dial back on disconnected calls 90% of the time they do not call back. Now you're left with having to call back and request another call back and speak with another agent and re explain everything all over again.

·1 year agoeBay does not send those on their own, but it is easy to miss the switch when sending an offer that says “Send offers automaticallyâ€.
They recently added an easy way to see and manage Automated Offers from the Seller Hub. Just choose Marketing -> Offers and you can see, adjust, or end any automated offers.
