Question

It seems so sellers get automated feedback. Why is that when the buyer doesn't get the feedback?

It seems some sellers dont leave feedback for the buyer, but they get automated feedback from the sale. Fewer and fewer sellers are giving feedback.

Buyers can use seller feedback to determine if a seller is experienced or trustworthy.

Buyers cannot receive negative feedback at all, so buyer feedback is not particularly useful to sellers in determining much of anything about a buyer.

I leave feedback when I get automated feedback. It seems when you get to a certain number of feedbacks, buyers no longer leave it, so I was happy when automated feedback started for sellers.

I don't buy much on eBay but other than the eBay Branded Supplies Seller I typically do not get Feedback from Sellers until AFTER I leave it for them if I get it at all.

For myself as a Seller I leave FB for my customers before they ever receive their item, that way it is done and I don't have to deal with any reminders that eBay sends.

Auto-Feedback was created because Sellers were complaining that Buyers just weren't leaving FB for Sellers.

eBay's Feedback system has morphed into something they never intended ... there are a total of SEVEN (7) eBay Help pages on Feedback. That's a bit much in my opinion.
