Question

First time poster here so please excuse if this is a question previously answered. Can a Buyer still leave feedback if eBay has already posted automated feedback?

Question two How can I opt out of the Auto pay feature for buyers? I dont like waiting 7 days for their auto pay since I sell a lot of gold coins. I have had a couple of cancelled orders when the market price has fallen.

Let me add that the reason Buyers are given 7 days to pay is because of two settings on your account.

-Auto-pay is turned ON

-You offer Combined shipping

The combination of those two settings and a Buyer winning an auction causes eBay to give them 7 days to continue shopping or pay. eBay's thinking is Buyers may want to take advantage of combined shipping when reality is that Sellers want to get paid. Changing EITHER of those settings will STOP the 7-day extension of payment.

The only reason the buyer has seven days to pay is because you are doing auction listings and have combined shipping available. If you do not offer combined shipping then the winner has one hour to pay.

-You can turn Auto-pay OFF or ON for both Auctions and the Best Offer flow near the bottom of this page: Buyer management | eBay

-Auto-Feedback is left for a Seller on a transaction approximately 7-10 days after delivery confirmation and as long as no issues are detected on the transaction. Buyers will still have up to 60 days to post their own personalized Feedback for Sellers and eBay typically sends out a reminder for them to leave feedback about a month down the road from delivery.

I don't know how to turn off autopay but to answer your other question, yes a buyer can leave feedback anytime within the 60 day window and it will override the automated feedback
