I am trying to find out a simple way of reaching a human at ebay. Rather that receiving the way t0 typical response of " something went wrong try again later"
I have several issues. 1) a seller told me to go through ebay for a return. I no longer have an option for this. 2)Another seller is charging me for return shipping..The size is wrong. The seller should agree to pay for shipping no? I am trying to contact a human agent and the automated thing repeatedly says "something went wrong try later"
For a remorse return, the seller must have a return policy that accepts returns and you must open the return within the return window you see on the item listing. If you are within the return window, the return option will be there. If the seller's return policy is "no returns," then you will have to try and work things out with the seller.
For an item that is not as described return (in your case, the item you received is not the same size as stated in the listing), the seller is required to provide a return label if you choose the reason "doesn't match the description."
If you opened a return using the reason "doesn't fit.*" you chose the wrong reason and will be charged the return shipping. For this, you can try speaking with eBay to see if they can change the reason for the return. Go to this page:
Down at the bottom right of the page, use the contact link. In the chat box, type the word "Agent." Sometimes, you have to be persistent and do this several times to avoid having to chat with the "alien being." Just keep repeating.
*Doesn't fit means that the item you received is the size you ordered, but it just doesn't happen to fit you.
