You can use a credit card for the deposit.
Vehicle sales are not completed through eBay, so unless your seller happens to have the ability to accept credit card payments himself, you probably cannot use a card to complete the purchase.
If the seller is using Caramel for the sale, I doubt that they accept credit cards.
