Auto payment
Hi I have been selling on eBay since 2008 and this is the first time this ever happened to me. I won a auction on 10/7/25 and above the buyer name it said buyer still doing more shopping he has till Oct 14 to pay WHAT does that even mean ? I called eBay they said oh yeah we are doing a experiment to see if we can get buyer to buy more and I was randomly picked the eBay person looked at my account and said that seems like it was a long time the buyer has to pay. she said just wait it out. I told her I didn't request this at all ! I reached out to the buyer to see what he said no response and yet he sells on eBay a lot .just wondering has this happen to anybody or am I the only one that this happened to ug!! thanks for anybody answering me Dianna

Mentor11 months agoebay opted all sellers into auto pay awhile back, but sellers can opt out. If the buyer places a bid on your item, and you have other auctions running, and you offer a discount for combined shipping, the buyer is notified that he can continue shopping and pay for all items in 7 days, to save on combined shipping. Buyers and sellers have complained for years about buyers making several purchases, paying each separately, and then later having the seller make partial refunds for combined shipping. This is ebay's way of addressing this situation.
