auto pay policy
Does anyone else continually run into the problem of EBay enacting auto pay on multiple items you win, before you can request combined shipping? This is happening to me constantly on sportscards. I end up paying separate shipping on each card won, making the whole thing unaffordable. Many sellers contacted for refund, after the fact, state that they dont know how to refund or say that they didnt realize it was for same buyer & the cards were already sent out. Ebay needs to give the buyer at least 24 hrs to request combined shipping before enacting auto pay. I contacted Ebay about this & they said all I can do is uncouple my credit card from my account & enter it separately for each transaction. Cool, except when you buy 15-20 cards daily, it is unbelievably time consuming.....Buying from EBay is a convenience. To continue to pay double & triple shipping charges makes Ebay a liability not a convenience. Better to wait for a card show where there are no shipping charges..........

Mentor1 year agoebay recently changed the auto pay to allow 1 hour for the buyer to change payment method. Not sure if combined shipping is included. If your seller is using the ebay Standard Envelope for shipping, be aware of these restrictions:

Mentor1 year agoThis is a feature that sellers control. Sellers that want to offer combined items should turn this feature off. So you might want to ask the seller if he has this option turn on or off before you buy.
