Auto-Pay (Misconception by Ebey Sellers)
I don't know where Ebey sellers gets the idea that purchasers don't pay for items. Pre-payment on offers, even if not accepted, is highly unethical. Third party payment processing is performed by PayPal or credit card company. Yet Ebey is now requiring this proprietary information. What are they doing with it? Who has access to it? As a purchaser, my contract for payment is with the Seller, NOT EBey. There's no reason for Ebey to have this third party payment information. Now the only way I know if an offer was accepted is when I get a transaction notification from PayPal. Ebey can't even notify the buyer that they purchased the item. I've never renegued on a payment and to be treated as if I will is insulting.

·3 years agoLook around here a little bit and you'll see all kinds of complaints about buyers not paying and Ebay finally decided to do something about it.
Pay Pal no longer processes payments for Ebay and haven't for a few years.
What are they doing with it, the same thing they do with it when you pay after buying an item, they use it to process the payment.
When you pay, you are paying Ebay and Ebay pays the seller.
