"AUTO PAY"
Good Morning Friends!
Need some advice~
For the first time in all my years on Ebay, I've noticed a "follower" on my account and the past several days, an automatic deduction on my debit card for auctions I've won or offers I've made~but I've not authorized this. So, when I run errands or otherwise leave the app temporarily, the item(s) are paid by "Autopaid" when I return! Well, then, it began paying (checking out ) for items I merely LOOKED AT!
Creepy, huh? And, of course, by the time I noticed this, this thing had charged my debit card for EVERY piece of pottery I'd laid eyes on, while just perusing the listings! Now, I'm afraid to "watch" or even let the list of "history" go un-cleared, for fear it will happen again! I cannot find the setting that controls this and everywhere I go when I watch an item, it registers 2 watching, when there was none yet on all new listings~I'm totally creeper out!
Has anyone else had this experience?

Mentor3 years agoAre you sure you didn't submit or accept an offer on those items?
Auto-pay applies to offers that have been accepted and auction wins - not items you have just looked at.
