Auto Pay
I had purchased a number of items. I messaged the seller asking them to combine all items for one shipping charge. It being late in he evening I decided to go to bed.When Igot up the next morning and booted up the PC I immediately went to E Bay only to learn that the item I had purchased the evening before had already been paid for using "Auto Pay" with the charges made to one of my credit cards. This was done without my knowledge or approval. Who authorized this payment?

Mentor1 year agoYou authorized it when you made the bid, placed an offer , etc. There is a screen saying this will happen but many buyers are missing it.

OP1 year agoWhere is this screen? I have been with E Bay for over twenty years and I have never seen such a screen. I know I am committed to the process once I have won a bid but I was not aware that money could be taken from my account automatically. As I said above I had sent a message to the seller asking for a combined shipping I never said I wasn't no going to pay. I would like to see this screen you mention.
