OP2 years agoOK - the purchase was A " Best - Offer"- which the Seller obviously accepted... But will My Future purchases all be completed using Auto-Pay ???

Mentor2 years agoMore and more sellers are being opted into auto-pay. ebay has started auto-pay with bids on auctions. They want to reduce the number of unpaid transactions on ebay.

Some sellers have learned how to "opt out" of requiring auto-payment requirement.
I really like the auto-pay with the Best Offer feature...I don't have to go through the payment process after I find out the seller accepted my offer.

Ebay implemented this several months ago whereby purchases that were made by using the Buy It Now or Best Offer are automatically paid for from the buyer's payment source on file.
Sellers can opt out of the auto payment requirement, buyers cannot opt out.
Personally as a buyer, I like it because it saves time having to go through the payment process.
