auto generated shipping costs
Hi, Im new and wondering how ebay figures shipping costs they posted on my auctions, when they cant know the weight or the destination prior to the sale? the prices they generated are less than half actual cost and customers are **bleep** off and I'm only charging them the actual cost of shipping.
I already spent more on bubble wrap and packing supplies (I buy) than they paid for the items. help!

·3 years agoWhen you set up the listing, you need to enter the size of the box you're going to ship it in and how much it's going to weigh, once it's packed.
The shipping is calculated based on that information and the buyers shipping address.
