Buyer asked to return 5 Sep (changed mind).
I issued the RMA same day.
Buyer shipped it back on 16 September 2026 and it arrived to eBay authentication on 21 September 2026 at Las Vegas authentication center
Ebay authentication verified 22 Sep and eBay refunded the buyer that day.
eBay mailed it to me 23 Sep (USPS 9434640206486014210554). Still in Memphis. Due 28 Sep. I do not have the bag.
26 Sep, 12:01 a.m. Pacific: hold email. It says the buyer asked eBay to review even though eBay already refunded the buyer. I did not open a case neither did the buyer. I was told that the eBay system did it "automatically".
AG seller page still says if they refund the buyer early, they wait until the item is back with you before deducting. That has always been how my returns worked. Not this morning.
Has this started happening on AG returns still in transit back to the seller?
Anyone else seeing their funds placed on hold before an item is delivered back to the seller on returns coming back from eBay authenticity recently?
I have been selling on eBay for many years and have had returns come back from eBay Authenticity and this has never happened before. I am a Top Rated eBay seller.
