Authenticity Required
I recently sold a card for $400. It is being sent straight to the buyer. Why
doesn’t it have to go through authenticity?

Is the buyer's address a PO Box? This is the usual reason that an item does not go for authentication.

OP1 year agoYes it is a PO Box. Should I be concerned about this?

Mentor1 year ago@920wax Shipping to a po box is not a cause for concern.
I do recommend reaching out to the buyer and letting them know that the card won't be authenticated.
If they really want it authenticated then you need to have them request to cancel. Cancel as buyer requested. Refund the buyer. Relist so they can buy again and put a physical address at checkout.

When you list a card that should go for authentication, you can exclude PO Boxes from your shipping locations for that item - just edit ‘excluded locations’ when you set up the listing.
