AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE - TRADING CARDS
I recently sent a card to PSA to grade. They identified the card as a mis-print (it is a Topps parallel but unnumbered). Apparently, they do not grade factory mistakes and labeled the card status as "FACTORY MIS-PRINT, NO GRADE." If I sell the card for more than $500 and it qualifies for the authentication (which is different than grading), will the authentication companies (including PSA) still reject it as a factory mis-print and refuse to authenticate? Has anyone been down this road before? Thanks!!!

·2 years agoIf the card is slabbed, the authenticators will check whether the PSA label and holder, not the card, are genuine and that there has been no tampering with the seal.
I'm not sure what the authenticators would do with an unslabbed misprint.
