Authenticity Guarantee returned to sender??
On January 4th, I sold a pair of shoes with Authenticity Guarantee. They were authenticated and shipped to the buyer, but apparently, for whatever reason, the package could not be delivered and a notice was left on January 18th. The buyer never picked up their package from the post office and as of February 4th they are now being returned to sender and the buyer is asking me to resend the shoes, claiming they had been sick.
I don’t even know if the shoes are being returned to me or to the authentication hub. I want to help the buyer but I honestly have no idea what to do.

Mentor1 year ago@undercutsneakers Let the buyer know when/ if the shoes are returned to you that you will contact them so that they can pay to ship the shoes again.
There are two options for handling a package that was returned to you as not deliverable with regular sales, I have not heard of this issue with Authenticity Guaranteed sales but the same rules would apply IF the item makes it back to you.
1. Contact the buyer and see if they have another address to ship the item to. If they do then you can share your email address since you have a recent sale together and have them send the funds to you electronically use Venmo or other payment transfer method to pay to ship the item again.
This is not considered an offsite sale since the sale already took place.
You should buy the shipping label on Pirateship.com or other source. Do NOT print another label from the eBay sale or you'll end up with two tracking numbers on the sold listing which will confuse the system. Plus you don't want to ship to the Authenticity center again and that's the address that will print on the label.
2. If they don't want the item or don't respond. Go to the sold item and select send refund from the drop down menu next to the item. Then on the next page select OTHER for the reason. Next refund the ITEM PRICE ONLY. Do not give a full refund with the shipping costs. eBay does refund sellers fees on the amount that you refund the buyer. If you have to do this option I'd add the buyer to my blocked buyer list>
