Authenticity guarantee question
I sold a gold piece of jewelry that I tested as 20k gold. It was sold and went through eBay’s authenticity program. They rejected it as being 19k instead of 20k. The buyer however still wanted it. So it got returned and I relisted it at 19k and he bought it again. I mailed it to eBay for again authentication and now it got rejected again saying they “can’t determine the metal purity”. I don’t understand since the first time they told me it tested to be 19k. How can the buyer purchase this piece ?
