Authenticity guarantee process
Good morning, I had a question about the authenticity guarantee process. It sounds sketchy to me that I need to send my high-value item to a 3rd party entity, thus no item in hand or money in my account. Is there another way I can just get my item to my buyer without sending it to someone else and get the money from the bid?

Mentor3 weeks agoDepending on the item and sold price you may not have the option to opt out of sending it to the authenticator. This protects you the seller as much as it does the buyer. Your responsibility ends once it is sent on to the buyer, buyer then deals with ebay not you if there is a problem protecting him as well.
