Authenticity Guarantee

Question

I'm going to start selling sports cards on Ebay and some will be graded so I would like to sell using the Authenticity Guarantee. How do I go about using that? Do I have to sign up separately since I already sell on Ebay and is it an extra charge? Thank you for any input that you may have.

eBay Authenticity Guaranteed program is automatically applied to cards that are listed in the appropriate Trading Card "singles" categories and that have a listed or selling price of over $250.

If the cards are ungraded, eBay will authenticate the card. If the cards are graded, and the grader is on eBay's list, eBay will authenticate the slab and seal. A card graded by an agency not on eBay's list will not be authenticated, nor will a card that is to be delivered to a buyer's PO Box.
