Authenticity guarantee
How to avoid the foolishness that is “authenticity guarantee†First time I’ve had a return back to me. Case details say it is being returned because it was “significantly different†than listed. States item is not new. I understand for the big time shoe resellers but I’m just selling shoes I bought and never wore. They are most definitely NEW they r in box paper still inside of shoes and extra shoelaces that came when purchased inside the box as well. No markings on shoes what so ever so all I can think of it that the original shoe box is not perfect. They came to me that way and I don’t “collect†shoes so the condition of the box did not matter to me AND it’s pictured and you can see it isn’t a perfect shoe box. I have never been a fan of this program for one usps has free shoe mailing boxes and this program forces you to ship fed ex which does NOT supply me with a box. What do I do relist and know they can continue to cover the shipping to and back to me because I’m not going to change the listing from NEW IN BOX. Do I list it as new without box or do I just NOT sell anything on eBay that forces me into this authenticity guarantee and use the other platforms out there which I already use and prefer but I list in 3 different apps to reach more buyers. Anyone else feel there should be a choice to sell this way or without. Let buyers decide!!
