authenticity failed
Hi I bought pair of shoes new in 2022, i relisted and sold them in Feb 2026. They failed authentication.. They are litterally the same shoes I bought, how can this happen? I have been a loyal shoe buyer/seller since 2020 with over 100 sales/purchases and never had an issue. I cant even contact ebay this is horrible..

Mentor6 months agoDid they fail authentication (as in deemed counterfeit) or did they find a "condition" issue between your listing and description and the condition of the sneakers?
Please post a copy of the denial, redacting anything personal.
ETA: If it's the sneakers you sold on January 29, the listing is still viewable. That means they weren't deemed to be fake. If they failed authentication for provenance reasons, they would have removed the listing and dinged your account for a policy violation.
