Authenticators missed discrepancy between item's title/description and the style code... what now?
I recently bought a pair of shoes, and their title and description don't match the "style code" which along with the pictures, reflect the actual product sold. My first question would be how the authenticators wouldn't catch this discrepancy right off the bat. My second and more important question is what exactly is the implication of it mistakenly passing eBay's "Authentication Guarantee?" I couldn't find any clear recourse for buyers to raise this issue with eBay. In this case, the seller isn't planning on offering any remediation, so I'm left with how eBay intends to honor and take responsibility for its guarantee that the item that I bought is authentic. I'd appreciate your help.
