Authenticators damaged my ring
I am seeking advice on a serious issue involving eBay's Authenticity Guarantee. An eligible ring I sold was damaged while in the possession of the authenticator. I only received three hundred and forty-six dollars from the five hundred dollar sale, and now eBay is attempting to zero out my account balance without addressing the fact that I am left with an unresellable, broken ring. What steps can I take to escalate this and hold them accountable?"
They think they can zero out my balance and call it good....leaving me with a $346 payout minus an overdraft fee they caused, minus shipping, and an unsellable antique ruby ring that was worth at least $750 that i took a $500 offer on.
