Authentication for sneakers
How can I have ebay authenticate a pair of vintage sneakers BEFORE they are sold? I see many active listings for vintage items that indicate EBAY AUTHENTICATION GUARANTEE. How is this obtained prior to creating an active listing?

·1 year agoThey are not authenticated prior to the sale. That badge means that they will be sent from the seller to an authenticator, who will either verify that they are authentic and match the listing (which means they will be shipped to the buyer), or that they are not authentic or do not match the listing (which means they will be sent back to the seller and the purchase will be cancelled with a full refund to the buyer).
