Authentication
How can the EBay Authentication program be trusted? I found a watch with the “Authenticated†designation, but the seller clearly writes at the bottom of the listing “this is a replica.†Either the EBay program is a joke or someone found a way to falsely label their watches. Either way, it gives me another reason not to trust anything on EBay.

Mentor2 years agoI have not used the authentication program for watches, but I have sold shoes in the program. If they work the same way, the item is sent for authentication after it sells. If it fails, the buyer is refunded. If it passes, it is sent to the buyer from there. It is also possible the seller doesn't know they are selling a brand within the program.
