Auctions by Barokama legit?
I won a bid for a graphics card and the description was essentially promoting a website called barokama , was that a scam or is it a legit auction listing?

Mentor3 years agoIf you are being directed to complete the transaction off of eBay, that is obviously against eBay policy and eBay provides no protection for off-site transactions.
You must purchase and pay on ebay.com through eBay's checkout page in order to have eBay protection.
A seller willing to scam eBay out of fees may also be willing to scam buyers out of their funds.

OP3 years agoTurns out the website is a whole scam, I paid only thru eBay so would that mean I’d be able to get a refund eventually?

Mentor3 years agoIf you paid through eBay you should be able to file a case if the item does not arrive or is not as described.
Unless you are refunded by eBay, you will likely have to wait until either the listing is removed from eBay (bookmark the seller's feedback page to keep track of the seller), or if you either do not receive anything by the last estimated delivery date or you receive something other than what you ordered.

If the seller provides tracking that shows delivery, but you receive nothing, follow up here for further instructions.
