Auction with "Buy Now" reverted to Auction only?
Listed an item on Auction with No Reserve on Monday with a start price and a Buy Now price 2x the start bid.
Today I checked the listing and Buy Now price/option disappeared. Why?
I have one secret bidder -which may have automatically disabled the Buy Now option for everyone? This is a stupid feature. It takes away the sellers Suggested Buy price and encourages low ball buyers who I find to be loathsome.

Mentor4 months agoAuctions can have either a Buy it Now option or a Make Offer option. However, once the first bid is made these options go away and the listing is now a pure auction. The Buy it Now option and the Make Offer option are just for the first interested buyer to get the item without going through the auction process. This is how eBay has designed auctions to work and it has been this way for many years.

Mentor4 months agoIn most categories the BIN goes away as soon as you get a bid.
Your starting bid should be the very least you are willing to take for the item.
