Auction win
Recently won an auction on a small gold filled brooch from user @speakicare . I won the item for $1.99 and went to pay for it and noticed the shipping wasn’t allowing me to continue with my purchase. He had set an option for shipping quote request. I contacted him and let him know I needed a shipping quote. So he said he had to look into it because something was messed up on his auction. He informed me he would relist as a buy it now so I could purchase it and bypass the error. His Buy it Now price was $9 with free shipping but on his other items (brooches and small things, his shipping charges were $1.32) so I mentioned making a lower offer but he would accept it. Said he needed the extra money to ship. Even some of his larger items only went up to $5.15 for shipping. I understand that this is not a lot of money but I feel, as a seller, you need to make it right for your customer and not attempt to ask for more money through shipping to make up for a low purchase auction. Am I crazy or does the community feel the same about this?

In all of my years buying on ebay, I've never run across an experienced seller who has Shipping listed as:
And when you click on See details you get the same thing.
Since the seller has not listed a shipping option they cannot invoice you nor can you pay.
Considering the seller's reply, I would ask if the relisted item as a Buy It Now is going to be for the price you won the item for, or their Buy It Now price? If they say the BIN price, ask to cancel the transaction. Otherwise, you could get an unpaid item strike especially if you had to give your payment method before placing the bid (auto pay)
I'm not sure I would go the relist option because at that low of a price someone else could snag it if you didn't see it in time. You could ask that they schedule the relist's start time on a specific day and time using an item title Private listing for allsocollectibles not the original title.
