Auction vs buy it now
I have listed a Sunday night coin auction for many years. On Sunday I watched in horror as my coin auction listed as Buy It Now for .99 cents. Of course these were immediately snapped up - I cancelled and refunded all. I am pretty much sure I listed as auction - what could have happened that changed 50 items to buy it now? I had listed my auction in advance to list on Sunday night. In the mean time I listed other items for buy it now separately from the auction - could this have changed something with the auction listings? Was there anything I could have done to stop the automatic listings of the errored "Buy It Nows".? Most of the buyers were understanding - one was not. I absolutely want to avoid this ever happening again. As I said earlier.....I was pretty sure all coins were listed as auctions - I don't know where the Buy it Now came from- especially to buy silver coins at .99 cents buy it now. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
