How do i synchronise the time in my country to the time that is projected as the auction time on eBay?

·2 years agoAt least for me on ebay.com and ebay.ie, the endtime displayed on the search results* is calculated and displayed to my timezone (US Central Daylight Time).
Bring up an auction that has at least 1 bid and compare the time on the search results and listing page with the starting time (at the bottom of the bid history page--click on the # of bids on the listing page--on the line with the Starting Price; the auction is scheduled to end x days==the duration at top right==after it starts). On ebay.ie the starting time there (along with the time of each bid) is given in BST which I assume is the local Irish time and so if that matches the endtime stated on the listing page and search results you are all set--no timezone conversions needed. If you want to continue to shop on ebay.com compare it to the search results and listing page on ebay.com also (the bid history page times on ebay.com are given in Pacific Time; the bid history page is the best place to make sure of the correct time since it always gives the timezone, including DST status, for the time given unlike the search results and listing page).
ETA: Also compare the time remaining on the various pages with the endtimes you are getting. If anything doesn't add up check your device's time settings especially the timezone--many people leave the timezone to the default one on the device/operating system and change the digits of the display which causes things to be wrong.
* AND on the listing page (the one with the most information on the listing including description, item specifics, etc.)
