yesterday i just wait auction before end and last bidder was me. i got notification about i just won this morning i checked and someone overbid after i leave the app and end auction, how is that possible?

If you still have the auction saved and you open it, click on the number of bids it received, then look at the time stamps of the bids, you will find that the winning bid was received while there was still time left. If you bid from the auction listing you might see Ends in 1 minute 8:59pm but if you look at the bid history where the first bid was placed it will show that the auction started for example at 8:59:20pm on the start date If your bid was received at 8:59:00 there was still 20 seconds left for another higher bid to be accepted.

You may have gotten the You won notification, but only because there was a lag time in the processing and it was sent at 8:59:20 but the last bid received at 8:50:19 was still being processed. Once the auction ends an Outbid notification cannot be sent. The device you used to bid with may not be synched to the atomic clock and may have been a few seconds fast.

If this bothers you because you would have bid more, then you made the common mistake many inexperienced bidders make when sniping (placing a last second bid) you did not bid the absolute most you would have been wiling to bid for the item plus a few odd cents.

This can happen in a couple of ways.

eBay uses automatic, or proxy, bidding. A bidder can enter the maximum amount they are willing to pay, and eBay will automatically bid for them in increments up to that amount.

There is also a practice called "bid sniping," where a bidder waits until the final seconds to place a bid. Some buyers use third-party sniper software that automatically submits the bid just before the auction ends. eBay allows this type of software.

So even if the app showed you as the highest bidder right before you left, another valid bid could have been submitted in the final seconds, or an existing higher proxy bid could have beaten yours.

Check the auction's bid history. It will show the timing of the bids and the final winning bidder.
