Auction not showing up
I have listed the same auction twice and both times I have had zero activity even though they both were promoted. I also can not get it to pull up in my store. There are no errant character in my titles and I am not selling any kind of restricted items. Its jewelry... What am I doing incorrectly? TIA

✓ From my own personal experience, it can take 24-36 hours after listing for your item to appear in search and on your profile.
This is a normal review and indexing period, and your items will appear in search after that process. (I know it is unpleasant to wait.)
Meanwhile, you can use the share feature to share your listing to social media and/or to collector's groups.

OP5 months agoHi, thanks for the information. The first time I listed it I waited 3 days for it to show. Nothing. Not even in my store did it show. So I took it down, waited a day and listed it again as an auction with less wording in the description. Nothing again. So today I listed a buy it now on a pair of cufflinks and bam, it showed right away and the item was sold in under five minutes for first listing. So I decided to relist the problem auction as a buy it now and the same silly mess happened. No show in my store or in search. It was only showing as active in my sellers hub. I took it down after an hour because I couldn't even get it to pull up by item number. All the time the first listing was put up I got zero visitors. This also happened on another cufflink auction I had listed the same time the first problem one was. I just took them both down and called it a day. I've had auctions go up prior to this with no issues and plenty of watchers. Now not so much and trying to get anywhere with eBay help is futile. I'm simply getting frustrated with this mess. Tonight I'll try redoing both problem auctions from the bottom up. But thanks a lot for giving me some ideas on what could be happening.

Don't take it down!
If you want a solution, relist and send me the item number. Something is triggering a deeper dive by eBay.
✓ It is very common for an auction to not be 'findable' for 36 hours or so.
Three days is too long, but if you are revising and revising, then it will keep getting set back.

Once I list it again as an auction I will do the entire thing over just in case I'm causing my own problems with wording or something. I'll send you the new item number once I cook off and redo it again 🙂

OP5 months agoThat is the last auction I had successfully put up and it's not the one I had problems with. The problem one in this category was with just one set of silver cufflinks. It also didn't show up just like the one I gave you the item # for. So two auctions since the cufflink lot are problematic. But oddly enough the pair of jade cufflinks I had just listed after fussing with the problem auction sold in less than five minutes after I listed them and they showed up in sold searches for cufflinks. My head is just spinning. I'm serious debating just taking it all down. I'll send you the link once I revamp the one I have had issues with . Thanks

It's my belief that the bot is having a hard time deciding what you are listing
I suggest you change the title
121 pc Lot of Vintage to Now Jewelry, Coro, Monet, Givenchy, Trifari, Avon, more
to something like:
Vintage Jewelry Lot Coro Monet Givenchy Trifari Avon Juliana Brooch 121 pieces
I suspect more if not all items are 20+years old and don't need the "now" in the title, but if needed, add it at the end.
The first 3 to 5 words need to describe what your item is.
I put it on my watch list.
